My name is Jovana Nuevo. I recently joined the Health Equity Team within the Health Policy and Planning Program on an assignment as a Community Health Planner. In my new role, I am excited to learn and support the team with projects like the community collaboration toolkit and developing PHPP’s equity plan. I am eager to engage with our local communities. I want to understand their needs and make our county a more inclusive place for all. I am looking forward to helping with these projects. I’m interested to learn and put into practice strategies for creating a diverse, healthy community for all.
