The 2021-2022 academic school year has started, and we are committed to a safe return to in-person learning. The San Mateo County Office of Education released the Pandemic Recovery Framework. This framework combines and summarizes the more extensive guidance provided by CA Department of Health k-12 Guidance, CDC and Cal/OSHA. It also includes the most recent SMC Health Order No. C19-12 regarding COVID-19 that requires universal masking in public indoor spaces whether vaccinated or unvaccinated. Vaccination for those 12 and above continues to be the most powerful tool to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.  Feel free to contact Melissa Ibarra, School Liaison, at HLT_Education@smcgov.org.
