RELEASED: 2024 CA State of Public Health Report

The CA Department of Public Health released its first 2024 CA State of Public Health Report. This comprehensive report provides data and information on key public health indicators. It also covers health disparities and leading causes of morbidity and mortality. The biennial report has been established by CA state law and is the first of many to come.

The report includes rich data sources and highlights public health strategies and initiatives. It shows the work underway to address public health trends and emerging issues. Below are highlights of how CA is taking on the pressing issues identified in this report:
