There are several events throughout San Mateo County to celebrate Juneteenth.  

Event/Activity Description Date
Young Artists Invited to Share Talent Artists grades TK-12 are invited to participate in the Juneteenth Arts Showcase, with the theme “From Resilience to Joy: Celebrating the Journey to Freedom.” Submissions are due May 17.
Juneteenth Youth Arts Showcase Join the County of San Mateo Juneteenth Advisory Committee, County Supervisor Noelia Corzo, and partners for a youth art showcase commemorating Juneteenth and the Black experience in America.
The evening will feature art exhibitions, performances, light refreshments, and conversations that focus on and celebrate the artistic contributions of youth across the county.

San Mateo County Juneteenth Wellness Celebration The African American Community Initiative (AACI) is hosting a Juneteenth Celebration on June 14, 4 to 8 p.m. This FREE community event will be held at the Eastside College Preparatory Academy in East Palo Alto. Enjoy a resource fair, speakers, and health & wellness checks. June 14, 3:30 to 8 p.m.
