The San Mateo County Transit District is recruiting applicants under 21 years old to join the Measure W Citizens Oversight Committee (COC) for the Youth and Youth Transit Riders position. The COC meetings are scheduled based on member availability, offering flexibility for youth members. Measure W, passed by San Mateo County voters in 2018, aims to improve transit and reduce traffic congestion through a ½ cent sales tax.
