We are excited to announce that Acterra was selected for the San Mateo Food System Alliance’s Network Manager contract. Acterra brings a wealth of experience working on issues related to the environment and will work with SMFSA members to move forward a common agenda around creating a sustainable food system for all of San Mateo County residents. 

In October the San Mateo County Food System Alliance held a joint meeting with the Santa Clara County Food System Alliance to identify opportunities for regional collaboration on food system related initiatives. Each Food System Alliance shared an overview of their organizational structure, priorities, and goals moving forward. With so much overlap identified, the group decided it makes sense to come together again to see if there are opportunities to strengthen the partnership.
