This year UCLA hosted The Healthcare Anchor Network (HAN) conference from October 3-5. HAN brings together anchor institutions to address public health disparities caused by racism. Many health system leaders shared their strategies for investing in community health. Some leaders are partnering with banks to provide financial literacy to minority-owned businesses. Others are working to create a more impactful workforce culture. HPP is supporting intentional career pathways for under resourced communities.
