There are multiple boards and commissions vacancies for the City of Redwood City, City of South San Francisco, and North Fair Oaks Community Council to fill seats on the Planning Commissions and Community Council.

City of Redwood City: The City of Redwood City is holding a special recruitment to fill two partial-term vacancies on the Planning Commission, one seat expiring June 30, 2024, and the other seat expiring June 30, 2026.  Eligible community members who are interested in sharing their knowledge and experience to help shape City programs and policies are encouraged to apply. Deadline to apply is February 28

City of South San Francisco: The City of South San Francisco is seeking applicants interested in serving on the Planning Commission. Commissioners make recommendations to zoning changes, variances, special use permits, parcel maps, subdivision maps, and other related matters. To be eligible for an appointment, you must be a resident of the City. Deadline to apply is February 2.

 North Fair Oaks Community Council:  There is one council vacancy. Applicants must be residents or business owners in the North Fair Oaks area. The North Fair Oaks Community Council addresses the needs of the community and serves as an advisory council to the Board of Supervisors on those matters which relate to the North Fair Oaks community, including, but not limited to, advice on matters of public health, safety, welfare, public works, policy, planning, community development, program development, and services pertaining to North Fair Oaks. Deadline to apply is February 3 by 5 p.m.
