Through a grant of the California Department of Education, The Bayshore School is partnering with La Honda-Pescadero School District to develop recipes using locally sourced ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity for two local districts to work on improving the quality of school meals while using local produce. The Bayshore School in Daly City underwent major renovations in 2017 that allowed it to consolidate Bayshore Elementary and Garnet J. Robertson Intermediate schools into one TK-8 school. The renovations included the design of a new kitchen facility which will allow them to prepare meals from scratch.
