The African American Community Health Advisory Committee is made of San Mateo County residents who are dedicated to addressing issues impacting our community’s health. Their mission is to create an awareness of the major health concerns and issues affecting African Americans, and to actively seek and promote a more healthful lifestyle by advocating for education, increased access to health resources and support for the individual.
