What We Learned in NFO/RWC

Post

We learned that parents/caregivers who took the survey in English were nearly 4 times as likely (63%) than those who took the survey in Spanish (16%) to identify at least 2 people who help them care for their children.

Both youth and caregivers reported being most likely to go to friends for help, with family members and teachers also ranked high.

14% of youth in NFO/RWC reported they had been discriminated against by local law enforcement in the last year. Only 4% of caregivers reported the same, but 7% of caregivers said their children had been discriminated against by law enforcement in the last year.
