Successful Data Collection for Successful Students

Post

Get Healthy SMC presented on the CA Healthy Kids Survey at the Respect! 24/7 conference last month, which gathered school districts, community organizations, and education advocates from across San Mateo County. Planners shared how the survey is a great tool to assess the most pressing health needs in the county, such as nutrition, mental health and social well-being. Participants learned how they can use survey data to make decisions at the school and district level and strategies for analyzing the data with an equity lens. You can download the presentation here. Although the survey is officially given every other year, some schools are seeing the value in collecting this annually for improved tracking!
