On May 14, HEPP staff attended the South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) Community Learning Exchange at Baden High School. This annual event engages community members, school staff, community partners, students, and families. Student clubs performed or presented: Baile Folklórico, the Biotech Club, and the Drama Club. All participants engaged in table discussions about their visions for SSFUSD students. At the HEPP Table, community members to contributed to our asset map of resources in South San Francisco. Some of the top assets were the new SSF library and the many services of the Parks & Recreation Department. The event was led by the SSFUSD District Office, in partnership with the Bay Ed Fund, The SSF Education Foundation, El Concilio, and the SSF Community Collaborative for Children’s Success.
