June Legal Trainings for SMC Entrepreneurs

Post

Get Healthy San Mateo County partner Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights (LCCR) is providing two workshops in June to support local small businesses. Renaissance Mid Peninsula and LCCR are hosting a Business Law Basics workshop on Tuesday, June 26th from 12:30 to 2:30. This workshop will provide San Mateo County entrepreneurs with essential legal information for establishing and protecting their businesses. LCCR will also train local service providers and pro bono attorneys on commercial leasing best practices on Wednesday, June 27th from 12:30pm to 2:00pm in East Palo Alto. A vibrant small business ecosystem contributes to community health, and financial security for low-income entrepreneurs is critical for tackling local health and wealth disparities. LCCR addresses both of these needs with legal education, commercial lease support, and legal services for low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners of color.
