Healthy Parks, Healthy People Meeting Recap
This month the SMC Healthy Parks Healthy People Collaborative
(HPHP) met in person at Wunderlich County Park to re-energize and
discuss how to strengthen our collective impact.  Also, Dr.
Rachel Borovina shared about the impact of natural spaces on
mental health. Our gathering ended with a restorative ancestral
practice led by Hood to Woods partner, and Curandera Yvette Mari
  Robles.
Much gratitude to our presenters and the over twenty partners
present, who continue their commitment to identify barriers and
develop inclusive best practices that connect and inspire
community members to use outdoor spaces for their health and
wellbeing. Please contact Gloria Cahuich Gonzalez if you’d like
be part of these efforts: gcgonalez@smcgov.org
