In April, the Health Equity Policy & Planning (HEPP) team attended a field trip at the Heal Farm in Half Moon Bay.  The HEPP team had a fun day learning about all the great work the farm does for students K-12 in San Mateo County to teach them where their food comes and why it matters. The Heal project has been a Get Healthy contractor for many years. The HEPP team had a great time harvesting strawberries and fava beans, laying down mulch and doing other farm activities. Learn more about the HEAL Farm and volunteer!
