Dental Assistant Pipeline
Did you know that dental assistants are in demand? Ravenswood Family Health Network launched its first cohort of the Dental Assistant Program in 2024. This Measure K-funded program helps build the health care workforce for dental assistants, medical assistants, and front office staff. Candidates gain skills needed to work as a dental assistant and are hired upon training completion. No prior experience or knowledge about dentistry is required to qualify. This is a paid, full-time position! The length of the training ranges from 7 months to 1 year. Congratulations to the first batch of students as they graduate this year.
