Committee to House the Bay Area (CASA)  released a draft compact with regional solutions to increase the production of housing, enhance preservation efforts of affordable housing, and protect existing residents from displacement. Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII), a coalition of the Bay Area’s eleven public health departments committed to advancing health equity, has worked closely with CASA to incorporate a health lens and increase affordability and stability so residents can be healthier.
