Getting the Right Housing Message Out

Post

On March 22, Home For All hosted another successful convening with over 180 participants from across the county. FrameWorks Institute previewed its latest research on housing messages that are resonating effectively, and others that are backfiring with the general public. In order to broaden the support for more housing, FrameWorks Institute suggested developing housing messages that focus on the benefits for the entire community of building and preserving housing, avoiding alarmist language like “crisis” and “disaster” that could paralyze the general public from taking action, and identifying housing as one of the key elements of building strong communities. We were able to get an early view of FrameWorks Institute’s recent research which will be published this summer. Stay tuned!
